Christena (Harms) Busker - 1885-1963

Christena (Harms) Busker was the daughter of German immigrant farmers who settled near Hildreth, Nebraska. Her parents were Herman E. Harms and Antje (Ufkes) Harms. After she married, Christena and her husband moved to Milbank, South Dakota. Christena is buried near Hildreth, Nebraska at Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

  1. An interesting spelling of Christena. I love your colorization. I was telling my son about your techniques just this evening. I read your blog on Shades of the Departed, but still don't understand how you do it. I guess I need a program to begin. The color makes the photos come alive.

  4. Thank you Linda, Harit and JoLyn! I just love working on old photographs and I guess you could say I'm addicted to it. I just want to make sure that the generations to come will be able to put faces to all the names and statistical data...... Thank you again for you kind words!
